Laphroaig – 15 Years Old (70cl, 43%)

Laphroaig 15 Years Old is a single malt from the Laphroaig distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The nose offers fresh orange zest and grapefruit, dry hay, creamy vanilla and a delicate hint of clove, with the distillery's peat smoke alongside. On the palate, smoke and sea salt give way to cracked black pepper, warm spices and a touch of sweetness. The texture is rounder, fuller and more complex, from the extra years in cask. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with salty coastal notes, soft spices and a clean sweetness that fades gently.
