This 26-year-old Laphroaig is Chapter 39 of the Whiskyland series from Decadent Drinks, who married two refill hogsheads filled in 1997 and 2000. It was bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 49.7% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The release is limited to 120 bottles.
The nose brings peat smoke and dried citrus fruit with a mineral, coastal spiciness. The finish is long and medicinal.
