The 2022 Càirdeas from Laphroaig is a limited single malt matured in former Maker's Mark bourbon casks and bottled at 52.2%.
The whisky comes from Warehouse 1, a rare four-storey building where temperature and humidity differ from floor to floor. Its exposure to harsh conditions gives the whisky a maritime quality. Classic Laphroaig flavours are lifted by a coastal character, in a whisky made on Islay.
