Laphroaig – Four Oak (1L, 40%)

Laphroaig Four Oak is an Islay single malt, bottled at 40% in a one-litre bottle. The nose carries the peat smoke of Islay, softened by stewed fruit and toasted vanilla, with light medicinal touches, seaweed, roasted coffee and a little coconut. The palate is creamy, with oak embers and peat smoke alongside aromatic woods such as sandalwood, pine and fir, then buttercream, liquorice and salty notes of seaweed and sea breeze. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly dry, leaving salted liquorice, ash and a smoky sweetness.
