Laphroaig – Lore (70cl, 48%)

Laphroaig Lore is an Islay single malt made from whiskies of different ages, ranging from 7 to 21 years, matured in small batches in five casks. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The name points to the knowledge and traditions passed down through generations of the distillery's managers, blenders and craftsmen. The nose has classic Laphroaig smoke with maritime notes, custard tart and macadamia nuts. On the palate, smoke and cracked black pepper add to a fudge sweetness.
