Laphroaig Lore is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Laphroaig distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV.
The nose brings strong peat smoke and bonfire ash with sea minerals, warm leather, dark chocolate, vanilla, honey and dark dried fruit. The texture is rich and oily. It starts gently with honey and fruit, then turns to charcoal, tar, iodine, bitter cocoa and a peppery touch of chilli. The finish is short to medium and dry, leaving a long, sweet, warm, smoky and maritime aftertaste.
