This is Laphroaig Quarter Cask, an Islay single malt bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a robust, smoky malt in which medicinal peat smoke and maritime notes meet vanilla, malt, spice and a noticeable oak influence.
On the nose it shows medicinal smoke, sea air and vanilla. The palate brings peat, malt, spice and a light sweetness, and the finish is dry, smoky and salty with a warming quality.
