Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, made at a distillery founded in 1815 that still uses traditional floor maltings.
It is matured in small quarter casks, which bring the whisky into closer contact with the wood, and in American oak. The result is a velvety edge alongside the peat smoke.
The flavour is deep and complex, with hints of coconut and banana. The finish is long and drying, leaving a touch of smoke and spice on the tongue.
