Laphroaig Quarter Cask is an Islay single malt, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured twice in American oak, the second time in small quarter casks, which give the whisky more contact with the wood. The whisky is around five years old.
The nose has peat ash from the fireplace with touches of coconut and banana. The palate is deep, complex and smoky, with a slight, unexpected sweetness. The finish is long, with smoke and a dry note.
