Laphroaig Select is an Islay single malt made by bringing together selected casks from several Laphroaig styles: Quarter Cask, PX Cask, Triple Wood and the 10 Year Old. The whisky then matures further in American oak casks.
The nose opens with strong peat and ripe red fruits, touched by dryness. The palate starts sweet before turning classically dry, peaty and ashy, and the long finish ends on marzipan and lime.
