A red wine from Rapalino, made from Nebbiolo and classified as Langhe DOC. It shows a bright ruby colour with garnet reflections and an elegant, silky profile. The nose offers ripe red fruits, cherry and raspberry, with faded rose, damp earth, light spice and a mineral touch. On the palate it is fresh and savoury, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, medium body and marked persistence on fruit and spice. It suits Piedmontese dishes, mushrooms, roast meats, aged cheeses and truffle-based dishes. Serve around 16-18 C; decant briefly for important courses.
