The nose offers fresh red fruit, cherry and raspberry, with a discreet spicy note and a light earthy hint. On the palate it is smooth and direct, with soft tannins, lively acidity and a savoury finish. It suits flavourful first courses, grilled meats, rustic pizza and semi-aged cheeses; serve around 16 °C.
