Leapfrog 13 2011/2025 Murray McDavid Bourbon Barrels

Leapfrog 13 is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2025 by Murray McDavid. This release is a reissue of a cult bottling, whose story goes back to a dispute between Murray McDavid and a distillery on the south coast of Islay. The whisky spent 13 years maturing in bourbon barrels, which kept the peat strength of this Islay heavyweight intact.
