Ledaig 10 Year Old is a peated single malt made at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. It was aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks and is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is rustic and peaty, with smoked bacon, brine and pepper, softened by citrus and leather. The palate is robust and oily, with barbecue smoke, malted barley, sea salt and sweet spices. The finish is long, smoky and warming, with peat embers, cracked pepper and a maritime tang.
