Ledaig 10 Year Old is a peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Scottish islands, bottled by the distillery at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is smoky and sweet, with roasted almonds and walnuts, melted butter, creamy toffee and a distinct note of smoked fish. On the palate there is caramel and local stone fruit alongside heather, then a large wave of peat smoke with a little salt.
The finish is of medium length, with plenty of smoke, peppery spice, fresh ginger and sweet liquorice.
