Ledaig 10 Year Old (46.3%)

Ledaig 10 Year Old is a peaked-smoke single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. It is made from peated barley of the Concerto variety, at 30-40ppm, which gives the whisky its smoky profile. The nose is sweet and briny, with soft peat and gentle smoke alongside mild antiseptic, creosote, wax polish, mint chocolate and a floral seaside note. The palate is sweet and medicinal, with pepper, dried fruit, vanilla and malty creaminess. The finish brings white pepper, liquorice, cloves and a lingering saltiness.
