Bourbon hogshead
A 12 year old Ledaig single malt from Cadenhead, bottled at a cask strength of 55.8% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was distilled in 2008 and matured in a single bourbon hogshead. Cadenhead was founded in Aberdeen in 1842 and is Scotland's oldest independent bottler. Its bottlings are made without added colouring and without chill-filtration. The whisky is maritime and sweet-salty, with smoke on the palate and in the finish. A few drops of water bring out the maritime character further.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
