A 15 year old single cask Ledaig, distilled at Tobermory on 3 April 2009 and bottled on 3 July 2024. It matured in a hogshead and was bottled at cask strength, 55.7% ABV, with 120 bottles filled. It is not coloured or chill-filtered.
The nose combines smoked lemon pepper, pine forest and bitter orange with apples from a potato cellar, a hint of oregano, grilled watermelon and smoked trout. The palate brings Szechuan pepper, cold hardwood ash, mirabelle, a cool, salty sea breeze, cashew butter with saffron and caramelised peat. The finish is smoky white pepper, cloudberry and quince, cocoa and soft ash.
