This is a 17 year old Ledaig, the peated style made at Tobermory Distillery. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2023 by the independent bottler Murray McDavid, at 54.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished in rum casks from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana. The rum finish sits against the smoky character of the Scottish west coast.
