Ledaig 18 Year Old (70cl, 46.3%)

Ledaig 18 Year Old is a peated single malt from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines hearty phenols, smoky herbs and cracked black pepper with a fruit character that has a Sherry-soaked sweetness. On the nose there is honey, baked earth and mineral smoke, with a slight chocolate note and orange oil and tropical fruit juice behind. The palate is grassy peat with a sea breeze, almond butter, lemon zest, biscuit dough and honeydew melon. The finish is toasted barley and salty liquorice.
