Ledaig 2005/2019 13 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish Single & Single (70cl, 58.1%)

A single malt from Ledaig, the peated whisky made at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. It was distilled in 2005 and matured in a single cask, with a period finishing in a sherry cask, until it was 13 years old. Single & Single bottled it in 2019 at a cask strength of 58.1%, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is marshmallows on a campfire, with hints of salted caramel and oak char. The palate has more sea salted caramel, with melted dark chocolate and burnt treacle toffee. The finish is charred herbs and peppery oak.
