Ledaig Castaway is a peated single malt from Tobermory distillery, on a Hebridean island, bottled at a full cask strength of 61.1%. It was matured in ex-rum and ex-mezcal casks.
The pairing sets Caribbean rum sweetness and Mexican agave character beside the island smoke, giving classic Ledaig a twist. The bold, peated spirit is described as taking on an unexpected richness from the casks.
