Ledaig Rioja Cask Finish Sinclair Series

Ledaig Rioja Cask Finish is a single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, finished in Rioja wine casks. It is the first bottling in the Sinclair Series, which takes its name from John Sinclair, the founder of the distillery. The Rioja casks bring the sweetness of ripe red fruit, set alongside a good deal of peat. The nose offers red grapes, cinnamon, rose petal jelly and a wave of coastal smoke. On the palate come grassy peat, stewed plums, raspberry, almond and dark chocolate. The finish is salted caramel, cherry and clove.
