Ledaig – Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish (70cl)

This Ledaig is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, made from heavily peated barley. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in hand-selected Spanish Rioja casks. The finish is a nod to a Spanish galleon that sank off the harbour at Tobermory more than 400 years ago, believed to have been laden with jewels. It is described as powerful, with smoke, spice, grape and sweet berries, and a lingering saltiness.
