A 4 year old bottled in bond bourbon from Leiper's Fork Distillery in Franklin, Tennessee, bottled at 50% ABV. It was aged in virgin, charred American oak barrels, and the independent distillery carries out every step from mashing to bottling itself.
The mash bill is 70% corn, 15% wheat and 15% malted barley.
The nose has chocolate-coated pralines, antique oak and fig jam. The palate brings butterscotch, sweet herbs and dried citrus. The finish balances fresh mint, Luxardo cherries and maple cinnamon cookies.
