Leiper's Fork Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey 5 Year Old

Leiper's Fork Bottled in Bond is a five-year-old bourbon made from a mash bill of 70% corn, 15% wheat and 15% malted barley, with toasted barley malt added for complexity. It is mashed, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled at Leiper's Fork Distillery, using local non-GMO grains, with the corn grown on the chief distiller's farm. The spirit is pot distilled and goes into the barrel at 110 proof. It is bottled non-chill-filtered. The nose offers pralines in mild chocolate, antique oak and fig jam. On the palate come butterscotch, sweet herbs and dried citrus, and the finish brings fresh mint, Luxardo cherries and maple cinnamon cookies.
