Smooth Ambler Old Scout Port Cask Finished Straight Rye (75cl)

Old Scout Port Cask Finished is a straight rye whiskey from Smooth Ambler, in a 750ml bottle. The whiskey was distilled at LDI in Indiana from a mash bill of 95% rye, then finished in port wine casks. The port finish adds dried cherry, plum and tawny wine character to the grain-forward rye, while the spice and herb notes of the rye remain beneath. Smooth Ambler Spirits bottles it in Maxwelton, West Virginia.
