Lindores – Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a Lowland single malt from Lindores, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The wash ferments for 117 hours, and the spirit is then distilled in a sister spirits still, which is effectively two stills working together and gives the spirit twice the contact with copper. The whisky matured in ex-bourbon, wine and sherry casks. The nose brings vanilla, caramel, sweet pear and caramelised apple. On the palate there is dried fruit, vanilla and citrus with a light touch of spice.
