This MCDXCIV single malt from Lindores Abbey distillery has been aged in a combination of bourbon, wine and sherry casks. This particular bottle carries the "Commemorative First Release" label and was limited to 12,750 bottles. A Lowland malt whisky distillery located opposite the 12th century Tironensian abbey of the same name on the outskirts of Newburgh, Fife. The earliest known record of Scotch whisky distilling is connected to the abbey via Friar John Cor in 1494, and the modern distillery was opened in 2017.
