A 13-year-old single cask Linkwood from Speyside, matured in an American oak hogshead and bottled at natural cask strength of 53.4% ABV. It comes from Milroy's Soho Selection.
Sweet and fruity, it has been likened to a liquid dessert trolley. The distillery character is fresh, fruity and slightly oily, with no sherry or wine cask influence. Linkwood stands on the outskirts of Elgin and dates to 1821, though production began in 1825.
