A 13-year-old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, bottled at a cask strength of 54.6% by Claxton's. It is part of the Warehouse No. 1 range and comes from the seventh series of those releases.
It was matured in an STR barrique. STR stands for shaved, toasted and re-charred: the inside of the cask is treated in that way, a style developed for spirit maturation by the late Dr Jim Swan, using wine casks from Europe and America.
