This is a 19 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, part of the First Cask Series. It was distilled on 26 November 1990 and comes from cask no. 9728, as bottle no. 313.
The colour is pale, like Chardonnay. The nose combines dried roses with smoke, grass and orange cake. Adding water shifts it towards grass and smoke, with hay and fern.
On the palate it is punchy and close to the malt, with barley sugar, cereals, apples and table grapes, plus a faint smokiness. The finish is long and natural.
