It comes from a single first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, number 8. Three decades in active wood bring depth and cohesion, while Linkwood's own spirit stays present beneath the sherry. The notes describe rich dried fruit, walnut, orange peel and dark chocolate, with gentle oak spice and a faint balsamic edge. Soft orchard fruit and a subtle floral lift run underneath.
