This Linkwood was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2021 for Wilson & Morgan's Barrel Selection. It is a Speyside single malt at 46%, in a 70cl bottle.
It spent roughly eight years in first-fill virgin oak casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers vanilla custard, ripe orchard fruit, honey, fresh oak and a little citrus zest. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, toffee, baked apple, nutmeg, ginger and oak spice, plus tropical fruit and malt sweetness. The finish is medium to long, with oak spice, vanilla, gentle pepper and sweet fruit.
