This is a 22 year old Balmenach from Living Souls, in a 70cl bottle at 44.9% ABV. The nose moves between crisp white grapes and the soft floral sweetness of Parma Violets, with a faint trace of Brasso behind it, like a timeworn toolshed beside a Riesling vineyard. The palate is bright, with melon, lemon peel and stone fruits, leading into a long floral finish.
