Loch Ìle 1996 19 Year Old Murray McDavid

Loch Ìle is a 19 year old blend from Murray McDavid's Crafted Blend series, made from Bowmore and Laphroaig malts with a gently sweet grain whisky from Loch Lomond distillery. It carries the 1996 vintage. The whisky matured in two bourbon hogsheads and was then finished in a first-fill Madeira barrique. Only 574 bottles were filled. The nose combines coastal notes with dried apricots and blossom honey. On the palate come sweet smoke, creamy fruit and floral touches, leading to a clean, fresh finish with a warming spice.
