Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is a single malt aged in three types of cask: bourbon, refill and re-charged. The whiskies are brought together under master distiller Michael Henry and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Its character is fruity, with peach and pear, vanilla sweetness and light hints of peat and smoke.
The nose offers crisp green apple, ripe pear, lemon and a background of golden cereal. Orchard fruits and lemon meringue lead the palate, with vanilla and light biscuit sweetness. The finish is medium in length, with gentle wood smoke and a peaty tang.
