Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt distilled in both straight-neck and swan-neck stills. Eighty per cent of its maturation is in second-fill bourbon casks and twenty per cent in re-charred bourbon casks. The yeast used in fermentation is one commonly chosen for Sauvignon Blanc, which gives delicately fruity aromas. It is not chill-filtered, and it won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2016.
