Loch Lomond 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from unpeated barley on the distillery's Lomond stills.
The spirit is aged first in first fill ex-bourbon hogsheads, then finished for 18 months in lightly toasted virgin Limousin French oak casks, split between first fill and refill.
The nose offers coconut, green apple, pear, cinnamon, clove and lemon. Sweet toffee and vanilla fudge meet grapefruit, pineapple and toasted oak on the palate, and the long finish carries warming oak spice of clove and aniseed.
