Loch Lomond 153rd Royal Portrush is a limited edition Highland single malt, bottled at 46% ABV to celebrate the 153rd playing of The Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club. Loch Lomond is the official spirit of The Open and releases a commemorative bottling each year.
It is matured in a selection of American oak casks, and the distillery uses a combination of straight-neck and swan-neck pot stills.
The nose has crisp apple, peach, vanilla cream and honey. The palate is fruity, with pear, apricot, vanilla fudge and toasted oak. The finish is medium, with vanilla, oak spice and soft fruit sweetness.
