Loch Lomond 16 Year Old Waypoint Series Cognac Cask Finish is a Highland single malt. It matured for 16 years in oak, then spent a further period in hand-selected Cognac casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose brings ripe pear, apricot, green apple, honey and vanilla, with a hint of grape skin. The palate is silky, with baked apple, apricot jam, white grapes and honeycomb. The finish is long, with lingering fruit sweetness and soft oak spice.
