This is the first release in the Loch Lomond Waypoint Series, a 16 year old single malt that pays tribute to the Falls of Falloch. Each release in the series honours a natural landmark. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV.
The whisky is unpeated and was distilled in Swan Neck stills. It matured in ex-Bourbon casks and then spent 12 months in ex-Cognac barrels to finish.
