Loch Lomond – 18 Year Old

This is an 18 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery. It was matured in American oak casks, which bring vanilla, baked apple and soft spice to the spirit. The house style of the distillery shows in a balance of orchard fruit, honeyed malt and a little gentle smoke, with oak playing a refined part. In the glass it is typically described as rich and smooth, with orchard fruit sweetness and honeyed malt leading, and gentle spice and light smoke following.
