A 22 year old single malt from Loch Lomond, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2022 at 48.2% ABV to mark the 150th Open at St Andrews. The edition runs to 4,000 bottles.
Maturation began in American oak, followed by a finish in claret wine casks. The spirit combines distillate from both straight neck and swan neck stills.
Tasting notes mention stewed apple, pear, black cherry and vanilla, with dark chocolate, ginger spice and wine wood.
