This is a single grain whisky from Loch Lomond, distilled in 2019 from malted barley only in a column still. Murray McDavid bottled it in 2026 at seven years old for its Select Grain series, filling 730 bottles at 58.4%.
The whisky first matured in bourbon barrels, then spent four years in Koval bourbon quarter casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
On the nose, ripe banana and cream suggest a banana milkshake, alongside warm toasted oak. The palate brings sweet buttered popcorn, soft caramel and gentle spice, and the long finish carries vanilla with a touch of cinnamon.
