Loch Lomond – 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a 21 year old single malt from Loch Lomond in the Highlands, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in the distillery's straight-neck pot stills and matured in American oak casks. The result is a well-rounded whisky with caramel, fresh fruit and festive spice, and a faint trace of smoke. The nose brings cedar, cinnamon, toffee apples and honeyed cereal. On the palate there is earthy pear skin, white grape, a touch of tobacco and cinnamon, with ginger joining in. The finish offers cask char, grilled peaches, waxy peels and milk chocolate.
