A single grain Scotch from Loch Lomond, distilled in November 1995 and bottled in May 2021 by Douglas Laing at 25 years old and 48.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the Old Particular series.
The whisky rested in a single refill hogshead, from which 223 bottles were filled.
The nose is floral honey with nutty granola and fresh vanilla pod. The palate layers caramel, gooey flapjack and zesty marmalade, leading to delicate cinnamon and creamy grain. The finish is silky, with mellow oak, vanilla and golden syrup.
