Loch Lomond – 25 Year Old Lee Westwood Single Cask (55.3%)

This is a 25 year old single cask Loch Lomond bottled at 55.3% ABV. It is the first edition made with golfer Lee Westwood, marking his 25 European Tour wins. Master Blender Michael Henry helped Westwood choose the cask, a refill American hogshead that had previously held spirit from the distillery's straight neck stills. The whisky was left at cask strength and released in a limited run. The nose brings ripe peaches, crisp apples and orange zest. On the palate there is toasted oak, pineapple and a rich caramel note, and the finish carries warming ginger and cinnamon.
