Loch Lomond 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery's core range, put together by Master Blender Michael Henry. It combines three distillates, both peated and unpeated, all made in Loch Lomond's Straight-Neck pot stills. They matured for 25 years in first-fill, refill and re-charred American oak casks.
The nose is highly aromatic, with toasted oak, coconut flakes, green pear and baking spices over a subtle, peppery smoke. The palate is silky, with creamy caramel, apricot, juicy pear and a splash of lime juice, balanced by cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and dry, with woody spices and a wisp of campfire smoke.
