This is a 16 year old Croftengea, the peated whisky made at Loch Lomond distillery, offered as a 6cl sample. It was distilled on 23 February 2005, matured in a PX sherry puncheon, number 6353, and bottled in March 2021 at 56.4%. It is a peated sherry whisky with earthy, fruity notes of dark plum. A sulphur note of boiled egg is present but does not intrude.
